Interesting Fact: First started attending RCBC (at Palm Beach Baptist) when I was 2 years old, then moved to the Sunshine Coast. Met my wife to be (Tania) at high school, then moved back to Gold Coast when we were 21.

Alex Huntingdon

Alex was born in Camperdown NSW, moved to Brisbane in 1996, and in 2002 Alex and her family moved to the Gold Coast. After leaving school Alex completed a Cert IV in Youth Work and a Diploma in Youth Ministry and has recently started studying a Bachelor of Ministry through Morling College. Alex has been involved in ministry since 2005, when she started in Children’s ministry, before being introduced formally on staff as Youth Intern in 2008, and moving into fulltime ministry in 2009. Alex is on staff at Reedy Creek as Youth Work and also working Associate Chaplain at Hillcrest Christian College. Alex is currently planning her wedding which takes place in October 2011. Alex enjoys reading and music, but mostly enjoys spending time with her fiancée.

Cheryl was born in Bundaberg, Qld (an original Queenslander) and moved from Brisbane to the Gold Coast at the end of 1979. Married to Phil (also a Queenslander) October 1973. They have two children, Scott (b. 1979) engaged to Alex, to be married October 2011, Shelley (b. 1981) married to Daniel. They have two sons Jasper (b. 2009) and Zeke (b. 2011). She has worked in the Church office at Palm Beach Baptist and now out at Reedy Creek, starting 27th October 1988. Cheryl enjoys gardening, watching murder mysteries on TV, but mostly enjoys spending time with family, especially their grandsons.
